These tube-like skylights are amazing. Everyone walks into a room with these and try to turn off the lights because they are so bright it makes you feel like the lights are on. They have a patent on the mirror like material used inside the tube to catch the outside light. They even have models with a shade inside that can be activated by a remote and other models that have lights for evening and fans for ventilation in bathrooms. These are so great that it’s hard to limit the number you want to have installed in your home.

My in-laws have these things and they are great. We someday might get one in that long hall leading to the guest wing, I saw them on sale at Costco the other day. Great post!
